July 2: Libraries
I think libraries are very helpful when it comes to researching and finding good information. This is also the most reliable place you go to when you want to find a certain book. I think it would be really cool if libraries started getting their own website for the books. With this you wouldn't have to actually go get a book yourself to find good information.

Do you mean getting books online? So you can read them there? That's usually up to publishers, and many libraries are starting to purchase e-Books (Electronic Books) for their collections. Library users like them because of the convenience of being able to access a chapter, for example, long after the library is closed for the day or because they cannot put everything down to go to the library at the particular moment that they need the book. The Health Sciences library has e-Books: http://hslibrary.ucdenver.edu/ebooks/ebooks-by-title.php
ReplyDeleteMaybe one or more of these will be useful to you as you finish up your research paper for HCPC. See you in class tomorrow!
